Help Launch Omaha's FIRST Woodhouse Spa
Position Summary
The Spa Attendant plays an essential behind-the-scenes role in creating the clean, calm, and luxurious environment our guests expect at Woodhouse Spa. This position focuses primarily on laundry, light cleaning, restocking, and maintaining guest and team areas throughout the day.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, efficient, and takes pride in maintaining an exceptional spa environment while working quietly and discreetly around guests.
Key Responsibilities
Laundry & Linens
- Manage the continuous flow of spa laundry, including robes, towels, sheets, blankets, wraps, and other linens.
- Operate washers and dryers and follow proper laundering procedures.
- Fold, organize, store, and restock clean linens throughout the spa.
- Collect used linens and maintain adequate inventory to support daily services.
- Keep the laundry and linen storage areas clean and organized.
Cleaning & Spa Upkeep
- Sweep, vacuum, lightly mop, and spot-clean throughout the spa as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized locker rooms, relaxation areas, restrooms, hallways, treatment areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Empty trash, sanitize appropriate surfaces, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
- Assist with treatment room turnover and opening/closing cleaning responsibilities as assigned.
- Promptly report maintenance, safety, sanitation, or equipment concerns.
Guest & Team Support
- Regularly walk guest areas to identify cleaning, restocking, or organizational needs.
- Help maintain Woodhouse standards for a quiet, polished, and welcoming spa environment.
- Work collaboratively with service providers, guest services, and management to support smooth daily operations.
- Assist with organizing and putting away supplies as needed.
- Follow all Woodhouse Spa sanitation, safety, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Housekeeping, hospitality, laundry, spa, salon, or hotel experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
- Ability to work efficiently and discreetly in a luxury guest environment.
- Flexible availability, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, and squat.
- Ability to push/pull laundry carts and lift or carry up to approximately 30–40 pounds.
- Ability to safely perform repetitive laundry, cleaning, and restocking tasks.
