Woodhouse Spa Midland seeks a dynamic and proficient Assistant Spa Manager to oversee daily operations. Skilled in delivering exceptional guest experiences and inspiring teams to achieve high performance. Experience in training, guest service, and developing employees effectively is essential, and strong sales and marketing skills are crucial to drive business growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide supportive leadership and effective coaching to facilitate continuous learning and skill development among team members.
- Assist spa attendants and concierge with guest experience in the spa, providing tours and maintaining daily cleanliness of the facility during operating hours. Fulfil functions of the spa concierge/front desk position as needed
- Possess and demonstrate professional telephone etiquette for booking appointments, and handling guests’ requests, and inquiries.
- Troubleshoot potential issues with guests, team members, and location operations.
- Prepare work schedules for hospitality personnel, and train concierge and spa attendants.
- Demonstrate respect, sensitivity, and concern for the needs of guests and staff professionally and graciously.
- Understand all services, and treatments, and be able to explain each clearly and precisely.
- Coordinate with the Housekeeping Team to ensure high levels of cleanliness are maintained.
- Ensure a seamless front desk check-in/check-out process and offer an exceptional guest experience.
- Assist in creating and organizing spa programs, staff training, and spa events.
- Ability to perform goal setting and tracking of business outcomes/results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm appearance.
- Communicate, describe, and train staff on the features and benefits of homecare items.
- Recommend and up-sell products that fit the guests’ needs.
- Create and change product displays to promote various products.
- Acts as spa manager on duty (MOD).
- Maintain a positive and can-do attitude during change management. Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
Assistant Spa Manager Classification: Full-Time
Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to collaborate effectively with teammates, and managers, and engage with our guests. Must have the availability to work evenings and weekends. Must be comfortable standing for extended periods.
