Assistant Spa Coordinator  (Asst. Spa Manager)

The position of Assistant Spa Coordinator is a management position and is imperative to the overall success of the spa. They are the right hand to the Spa Coordinator, help lead the Hospitality team, and are a leader for the entire spa staff. They will assist primarily with overseeing the front desk, as well as the rest of the spa as needed. The Assistant Spa Coordinator should be well versed in all spa services and products. Must assist the Spa Coordinator in achieving spa retail goals and streamlining inventory in addition to other duties. Responsible for assisting the Spa Coordinator in keeping the spa running at optimal levels alongside the GM and team leads. Must be organized, dependable, and able to resolve most issues.

Additional Assistant Spa Coordinator Responsibilities:

o   Recruiting/interviewing potential Hospitality team members as needed.
o   Assist Spa Coordinator with training new Concierges on spa procedures & all things Zenoti.
o   Assist with coverage of the front desk as needed.
o   Implement corrective action as needed for therapists and front desk (verbal warnings, write ups, etc.).
o   Inventory – Oversee retail and back bar inventory.
o   Responsible for inventory counts at least every 2 months.
o   Receive orders for back bar and retail.
o   Adjusting inventory as needed (expired, damaged, donations, etc.).
o   Oversee stock in retail area weekly and update retail list with Head Concierge.
o   Driving sales to hit monthly goal.
o   Create and promote Service and Retail Promotions.
 Educate team members on product knowledge.
o   Responsible for spa guest snack and paper supply order (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).
o   Oversee cleanliness of the spa and retail area. 
o   Active manager when on the schedule. 
o   Tend to guest complaints and questions while providing exceptional customer service.
o   Follow up call to guest when needed.
o   Assist with oversight of Hospitality team and make sure concierges are utilizing smart booking, maintaining positive    attitudes and providing wonderful customer service. 
o   Ensure concierges are reading notes and making confirmations daily and following up with guests in advance.  
o   Close out open invoices in Zenoti weekly. 
o   Upsell retail products & motivate others to do so. 
o   Responsible for petty cash and bank runs.
o   Make time clock and schedule adjustments (correct punches, move appointments, schedule adjustments, etc).
o   Assist GM & SC with finding contracted massage therapist through Zeel, as well as checkout therapists in the Zeel system when needed.
o   Assist with in-spa and off-site events as needed.
o   Oversee SVIP program (changes, updates, and guidelines.).

*Sunday through Thursday full-time schedule (including some evenings) is required*

 
Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
